Overall Net-Zero Target ERG commits to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2040 from a 2020 base year. Near-Term Targets ERG commits to reduce scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 72% per MWh by 2027 from a 2020 base year. ERG also commits to increase active sourcing of renewable electricity from 94% in 2020 to 100% in 2030. ERG further commits to reduce scope 1 and 3 GHG emissions from fuel and energy related activities covering all sold electricity 70.4% per MWh by 2027 from a 2020 base year. Long-Term Targets ERG commits to reduce scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions from power generation 94.8% per MWh by 2040 from a 2020 base year. ERG also commits to reduce scope 1 and 3 GHG emissions from fuel and energy related activities covering all sold electricity 95,3% per MWh within the same timeframe. ERG further commits to reduce all other scope 3 GHG emissions 97% per MWhe within the same timeframe.
