Overall Net-Zero Target DSB commits to reach net-zero GHG emissions across the value chain by 2050. Near-Term Targets DSB commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 98% by 2030 from a 2019 base year.* DSB also commits to reduce absolute scope 3 emissions from use of sold fossil fuels 100% within the same timeframe. DSB further commits to reduce all remaining absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 30% within the same timeframe. DSB finally commits to reduce optional scope 3 GHG emissions from downstream transportation and distribution 28% within the same timeframe. Long-Term Targets DSB commits to maintain at least 98% absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions reductions from 2030 to 2050 from a 2019 base year.* DSB also commits to maintain a 100% absolute reduction of scope 3 GHG emissions from use of sold fossil fuels within the same timeframe. DSB further commits to reduce all other absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 90% by 2050 from a 2019 base year. *The target boundary includes land-related emissions and removals from bioenergy feedstocks.
