Overall Net-Zero Target: ACC Limited commits to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by FY2050. Near-Term Targets: ACC Limited commits to reduce gross scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 18.5% per tonne of cementitious materials by FY2030 from a FY2023 base year.* Within this target, ACC Limited commits to reduce gross scope 1 GHG emissions 16.3% per ton of cementitious material and gross scope 2 GHG emissions 53.1% per ton of cementitious material within the same timeframe.* ACC limited also commits to reduce all other absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42% within the same timeframe. ACC Limited further commits to reduce gross scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased clinker and cement 32.6% per tonne purchased within the same timeframe. *The target boundary includes biogenic land-related emissions and removals from bioenergy feedstocks. Long-Term Targets: ACC Limited commits to reduce gross scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 93.7% per tonne cementitious product by FY2050 from a FY2023 base year.* ACC Limited also commits to reduce all other absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 90% within the same timeframe. ACC Limited further commits to reduce gross scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased clinker and cement 97% per tonne purchased within the same timeframe. ACC Limited finally commits to reduce all other absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 90% within the same timeframe. *The target boundary includes biogenic land-related emissions and removals from bioenergy feedstocks.
