Medtronic PLC also commits to increase active annual sourcing of renewable electricity from 1.29% in FY2020 to 100% by FY2030. Medtronic PLC further commits that 75% of its suppliers by emissions covering purchased goods and services and capital goods will have science-based targets by FY2030. Finally, Medtronic PLC commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from upstream transportation and distribution, business travel and end-of-life treatment of sold products 37.5% by FY2034 from a FY2024 base year.
