Overall Net-Zero Target: Workspace Group PLC commits to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by FY2040. Near-Term Targets: Workspace commits to reduce scope 1, 2 and 3 in-use operational GHG emissions of owned and leased office buildings 56.7% per m2 by FY2030 from a FY2020 base year. Workspace also commits to reduce all other absolute scope 1 and scope 2 emissions 100% within the same timeframe. Workspace further commits to reduce absolute scope 3 emissions 42% within the same timeframe. Workspace finally commits to install no new fossil fuel equipment that are owned or financially controlled by the company in its buildings portfolio from January 1, 2030. Long-Term Targets: Workspace commits to reduce scope 1, 2 and 3 in-use operational GHG emissions of owned and leased buildings by 89.9% per m2 by FY2040 from a FY2020 base year. Workspace also commits to maintain a 100% absolute reductions of all other scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions from FY2030 through FY2040 from a FY2020 base year. Workspace further commits to reduce absolute scope 3 emissions 90% by FY2040 from a FY2020 base year.
