Near-Term Targets: O.R.I. MARTIN S.P.A. commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 50.0% by 2030 from a 2023 base year. O.R.I. MARTIN S.P.A. also commits to reduce scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions covered by the iron & steel core boundary 25.0% per tonne of hot rolled steel within the same timeframe. As this target calculation depends on the scrap ratio projection, O.R.I. MARTIN S.P.A. will publish the scrap ratio associated with this target annually starting from the base year. O.R.I. MARTIN S.P.A. further commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, fuel- and energy-related activities, upstream transportation and distribution, waste generated in operations and downstream transportation and distribution 25.0% within the same timeframe.
