Overall Net-Zero Target: Italgen SpA commits to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2040. Near-Term Targets: Italgen SpA commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year. Italgen SpA also commits to continue active annual sourcing of 100% renewable electricity through 2030. Italgen SpA further commits to reduce scope 3 GHG emissions from fuel and energy related activities covering all sold electricity 72% per MWh by 2030 from a 2023 base year. Long-Term Targets: Italgen SpA commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 90.0% by 2040 from a 2023 base year. Italgen SpA also commits to reduce scope 3 GHG emissions from fuel and energy related activities covering all sold electricity 91.3% per MWh within the same timeframe. Italgen SpA further commits to reduce all other absolute scope 3 GHG emissions by 90.0% within the same timeframe.
